INTERACTIVE PANORAMAS
Click on a panorama for an interactive view in a new window, or click on its title to view the interactive scene in this window. These panorama files are not very large (about 100 Kb), but it can take a little while to load the image and initialize the Java viewing applet (no plug-ins are required, but your browser must support Java). Please be patient, it is well worth the wait. If your browser does not support Java, you can view an enlarged static image by clicking on the words, "Non-interactive View," under each panorama. See below for more information about viewing these panoramas.
These fully interactive panoramas can be controlled using the toolbar that is displayed in the lower left corner of the panorama, or by using your mouse as follows:
- Toolbar Control
- Mouse Control
- To pan to the left or the right, click and hold the left mouse button while pointing on the left or right side of the panorama.
- To pan up or down, click and hold the left mouse button while pointing on the upper or lower portion of the panorama. (Note: You may not be able to pan up or down if the view is zoomed out all the way.)
- To zoom in or out, click and hold the right mouse button while pointing on the upper or lower portion of the panorama.
- Clicking or dragging farther from the center of the panorama increases the rate of panning or zooming.
- Some Panoramas have "hot spots" that are linked to audio recordings or web pages.
These panoramas were created and are displayed using HotMedia® by IBM
Viewing panoramas requires a browser that supports Java 2, v1.3.
